Change of ownership at 360WorldGuide. The company started up 1999 founded by Niclas Johansson and Bill Blakeus with 50% each of the company chares. On December 1, 2006 Bill Blakeus acquired all company shares and is now the sole owner of the company.
360WorldGuide has developed a unique business model and production methodology based on the photography of 360-images. The key component of the success has been the project management approach to photography designed to cater for large volume contracts and the need for global businesses and organizations to simplify the process of acquiring photography services with a standardized look & feel and easy to understand legal terms.
A large part of all contracts are designed to be able to coordinate with each other, such as the contracts with Hilton, Scandic, First Hotels and tourist & convention organizations via European Cities Tourism and BestCities. For their members this brings many benefits including very low prises due to high volume contracts but also the benefit of using the 360-images on several websites at one cost, such as their own corporate website, the city official website and also on the 360CityGuide website.
360WorldGuide also have created a number of standardized applications and platforms such as the 360Show CD production, 360PostCard, 360Map and 360CityGuide. 360ImageBank is a database with thousands of 360-images from all over the world available for website owners who wish to spice up their website with already made 360-images.
