360WorldGuide has been awarded a contract with Stockholm Visitors Board to produce 360-images for the official city website, www.stockholmtown.com. Stockholm Visitors Board is the official tourist and convention bureau in Stockholm.
360WorldGuide is producing interactive content for the website. The contract is a full service contract and cover project management, production of the 360-images as well as webhosting of the 360-images on 360WorldGuide servers.
The contract is part of the ECT (European Cities Tourism) contract covering over 100 cities tourist & convention organizations.
The 360-images for hotels are highlighted under the hotel reservation and distribution system Citybreak™ used by Stockholm Visitors Board. The system has already been prepared to "automatically" load the links from 360WorldGuide and marketing staff at Stockholm Visitors Board don't have to do anything as everything is managed by 360WorldGuide project management.
The contract also covers production of 360-images from city attractions as well as museums and restaurants.
The main benefit with the contract is to acquire 360-images from one single production partner, with a standardized look & feel and also to avoid any potential legal problem regarding immaterial legal rights. A tourist & convention bureau usually don't have the time and resources to check the legal rights for every image published on their websites. This problem is avoided with the contract and the images can be used forever and wherever as long as the 360WorldGuide byline is used under each published image.
The prices are based on a very large volume contract with 1/3 of the standard normal cost in order to make it possible for even the smallest hotel or museum to be highlighted with 360-images.
