Available Jobs
We are expanding quickly and the company is currently in a process of recruiting people based in the cities and destinations in the left column.
All applicants are asked to study our website carefully as we will select candidates based on who best understands our business concept. Full understanding of our business model and production methodology is essential to your success with us.
We are currently recruiting Photographers, Video Producers, Project Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Sales Agents.
Photographers
We need photographers with experience of architectural and design photography in a hotel environment.
This is NOT studio photography with endless of time available and a controlled environment. Our photography is produced with our clients in full operation and it is our job to make as little interruption as possible at location. The time schedule is usually very hectic and we normally allocate max 15-30 minutes per room for 360-images and still images. The clients are responsible for all preparations but you are expected to check everything for that extra touch. You will work with a standardised shoot list with details for every room but changes and additions are frequent.
You will be trained in our standardised production methodology but knowledge in digital photography without external light is essential. You also need to have very good knowledge of quality control of the images and how to organize image files before sending them to our post production team via Internet.
You must be a business oriented person as our photographers are our face to our clients. Our photographers have meetings with the hotel top management before and after the photo shoot to discuss the project and how the images can be used. You will be trained to help each hotel how to maximize the use the images for best possible return of their investment in 360-images. You must be comfortable to discuss business opportunities with your clients as this is expected from you by the clients. Most hotels order many extra images at location and if this opportunity is not fully explained to the hotel management team they will be upset later on.
Our job is to document a hotel or other property in the best possible way and we do this in a highly standardised way to ensure a uniform "look & feel". Some photographers want to be creative and experimental and that works fine in a studio but not on the field in our projects.
In a hotel operation at a large hotel much of the time management is controlled by the hotel marketing management team, not the photographer. This lack of creative control and time control makes some photographers freak out.
What we do with 360-images is highly unusual from a photography point of view as a photographer normally produces many images in a room and simply selects one that is perfect. For 360-images you produce a sequence of images that will be stitched together. If one single image is bad the whole 360-image will simply not work. If you have left the property with one single error we will need to send a photographer again and the room has to be prepared again. That is not an option.
Our photographers are either employed by us or freelance photographers trained and certified by us. We pay very well as we expect to have the best photographers but we only pay for days that we provide work. This is the same with staff photographers and freelance. All legal rights to produced images belong to 360WorldGuide and that is stated in all contracts we have with all photographers.
Video Producers
We are recruiting video producers as we have decided to start producing high quality video while the client property is prepared for photography.
As this is a new service we currently evaluate different video formats. Much of the hotel video productions we have seen on Internet are far below our minimum standards and we are looking for something exceptional for our own websites.
We will use cinematic style video and you must be familiar with mobile dolly equipment.
As soon as our video production technical and artistically evaluation is done we will start posting our videos on 360CityGuide.com.
You can help influence the look & feel of our new standard.
We strongly believe in a mix of all 3 media formats for Internet; still images, 360-images and video and they all have unique benefits. Our business concept is geared to be able to produce and deliver high quality video at a low cost and this is done by a high level of standardization.
If video is produced at the same time as still images and 360-images the cost for room preparations is eliminated and the cost/benefit ratio can be quite satisfactory.
We intend to use video for most of our 360CityGuide productions in the near future and our 360Show web design format is prepared for video and as soon as our video format is ready it will be published.
Our video photographers are either employed by us or freelance photographers trained and certified by us. We pay very well as we expect to have the best photographers but we only pay for days that we provide work. This is the same with staff photographers and freelance. All legal rights to produced video and images belong to 360WorldGuide and that is stated in all contracts we have with all photographers.
Project Managers
Our project managers are business oriented professionals and are the interface between all our teams and the client. They primarily liaise with all clients to coordinate a project and find a suitable road map for each production.
They also liaise with our photographers and arrange the travel itinerary, makes sure that the client order is correct and shoot list is well prepared.
The project manager also liaises with the post production team and arrange with shipment of all image files to the clients and partners.
The project management team is our core service and this is what makes us excel as a company. They ensure that coordination of all productions in a project is optimized, that all clients are well informed about all aspects of the production and that the shipment to each client is performed according to expectation.
The project managers continue to have a dialogue with each client after the shipment to ensure that everything has been to full satisfaction.
Regional Sales Managers
Our sales managers are responsible for all sales activities in their region. You need to be very familiar to how the hospitality sector works and how 360-images can improve our client's competitive edge.
Our key business is not photography. Our key business is to help our clients to stand out and excel in their city. We help hotels and other venues identify their unique selling points in regards to design, architecture and location. Most clients are aware of their key selling points but they are not always sure about how to exploit their full potential from an online perspective.
As regional sales manager you will create awareness for our online order system at selected clients and partners in your region. You will liaise with the city tourist & convention bureau in each selected city in your region. They are often a key partner in our selection process and help us to find the best of everything in the city.
You will also be chairman of our Advisory Board in each city we produce in your region. Each city Advisory Board has 4-6 members and they meet 3-4 times per year to set a priority list of nominated partners to our 360CityGuide and 360GolfGuide projects.
You will recruit sales professionals to help you meet your targets. These sales professionals can be based in a regional sales office or at our field offices.
It will be up to your decision if you prefer to work with sales agents, hired staff or joint venture companies. As a company we can enter any of these arrangements and each region has its own unique opportunities.
For sales agents we use already specified contracts. For employed staff we follow each country regulations. You will be the manager for all regional field offices you set up until each company is large enough for their own management team. For joint venture companies we use our standard contracts where we usually have 50% ownership, unless local laws suggest something else.
